Hello and welcome to my webpage. I am so happy to be teaching 1st and 2nd grade, again, this year! This is my 4th year here at Hardeman. My first two years I was a Para, librarian, and I also helped teach Explo classes. Last year was my first year teaching 1st and 2nd grade and I enjoyed every single second of it! Before coming to Hardeman I taught preschool at Marshall Head Start and worked at the Marshall Habilitation Center.
My classroom is literally one of my happiest places to be! And I feel the kiddos would whole heartedly agree. I absolutely love this school and ALL the Kiddos in it! Even though I may not teach every single student, I want them to know that they are cared for and loved by me! If you must know anything about me it would be that I love people in any shape, size, age or form. Also, yellow is my happy color. With that being said, how could I not be happy when I am surrounded by yellow walls? Hardeman truly is a happy place!
I am currently attending Western Governor's University to obtain my dual teaching license in Elementary and Special Education. And plan to finish my dual degree this year! The end is near!
I am very involved with my church in Marshall. My family and I are very involved with the youth from our church and our house is always full of kids. I also teach Sunday School. I have been married for 21 years and have 4 boys: Aiden 20, Elias (Eli) 18, Imanuel (Manny) 10, and Josiah 9.
