     My name is Mrs. Sims and this is my thirteenth year at Hardeman. I love being a part of the Hardeman family and think we have the best kids and parents around.  I am teaching 3rd and 4th grade core subjects. I graduated from Missouri Valley College with a degree in Elementary Education and a degree in Early Childhood. I am currently working on my master's degree.  I previously worked as a paraprofessional at the Marshall School District for seven years and decided that I really enjoyed the teaching element and making a difference in student's lives.  I have four children, my oldest is now married with two babies, a 6 year old Rhett- and  a two year old -Macie. Steven, my only son, is now 24 and has a job at the Missouri State Fairgrounds, as the concession and events coordinator. Kylie is now working at a bank and my baby Katie has started her teaching career in Sedalia. Man, the time sure flies!! I miss having my own kiddos at Hardeman! This year we have 10 students in our class! I look forward to working with all the students and getting to know them and their families.
